At Alys Beach, parks are integral in the way of life and the community. There are three primary parks: Central Park perfect for family gatherings, Gulf Green which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, and Fonville Hill geared towards the children of Alys Beach.

The Clermont Tennis Club, jogging and biking trails, a fitness center, a lap pool, and abundant choices for healthy food are all within walking or biking distance of each home.

Amphitheater

A plaza of approximately 30,000 square feet is planned to host outdoor concerts, plays, recitals, lectures, and countless other cultural events.

Community Center

Inside the Community Center are a home theatre, game room, and fitness room. Nearby are a restaurant and full bar with views of the Gulf of Mexico, Fonville Press bookstore and cafe, the fitness center, beach club, amphitheater, Clermont Tennis Club, and Caliza Pool.

Beach Club

There are currently plans for the Beach Club at Alys Beach that will include an infinity pool perched over the Gulf of Mexico, a family pool with a waterfall cascading from the main pool deck, and Jacuzzi whirlpools with spectacular views. The Beach Club will offer a full-service bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

Events

A favorite activity at Fonville Press is Trivia Night - an evening of fun, facts and friendly competition that takes place the second Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Second Annual Digital Graffiti event occured in Alys Beach on June 06. 2009. It was an amazing event. If you happened to miss this year, make sure to attend next year. You won’t regret it!

Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is the world’s first outdoor projection art festival, with artists using the latest technologies to project their original works onto the town’s iconic white walls.

Sometimes referred to as “Photon Bombing,” “Guerilla Projection” or “Urban Projection,” underground artists around the globe have already been using the latest design, animation and projection technologies to cast dynamic images onto skyscrapers and other urban structures as a means of artistic expression. But Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is the first outdoor festival specifically organized to celebrate and showcase these unique talents.
