Sandestin Market Report – January through July 2009

Condos, Detached Single Family, and Attached Single Family

 

Below is a breakdown of the Year to Date Sales in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort for Condos, Detached Single Family, and Attached Single Family Residences. July came in second so far this year for number of closings with 20 successful closings!

 

A breakdown of July sales is as follows:

 

7 Detached Single Family Homes ranging from $325,000 to $606,500

13 Condos ranging from $85,000 to $890,753

 

July had a few closings postponed or cancelled but still ended up being a better month compared to July 2008 (with only 13 successfully closings).  There are currently 31 properties that are either Contingent or Pending within Sandestin Resort with projected closing dates in August 2009.  As of August 05, 2009, there has been one successful closing in Sandestin Resort, a Southwinds Condo for $970,000 (a higher value than any closing in July!).

Residential Land

 

Below is a breakdown of the Year to Date Sales in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort for Residential Land. Lots have continued to be harder to sell.  There have only been 5 lot sales for the entire period.
